I Graduate From Concordia University Essay - 1461 Words

As I graduate from Concordia University with a double major in psychology and behavioral science, I have many career and educational paths to pursue. One career goal in the forefront of my mind is a clinical psychologist. I have an interest in this career field because I have a strong interest in the diagnosis and treatment of severe mental illness. In order to be able to do such things in my future, further education is needed. Thus, postgraduate education is a strong interest of mine. University of Texas at Dallas One program of interest resides at the University of Texas at Dallas. This university offers a Masters of Science in psychological sciences. The main focus of the program in psychological sciences is to provide training in psychological sciences and prepare scholars for applying to nationally prominent doctoral programs in clinical and experimental psychology. When applying to this program there are many application requirements, deadlines, and fees. In order to apply, one must submit a cumulative GPA, official transcripts, GRE scores in the math and verbal sections, three letters of recommendation, and an admission essay detailing academic interests and career goals, see Appendix A. Appendix B provides a detailed outline of the application form. The application fee is $50 with the application as a whole, due February 15.
